Kelli with an i
Hello and welcome to Kelli with an i!
I'm really glad you're here.
Now, I want to explain why I am here.
I have been blogging for years, at least 15 years if not longer, and I've been journaling since I was a child. I love to express my thoughts in writing, and it has helped me process things that happen in my life because I can go back and look at previous posts and put two and two together, or I can go back and cringe at how I didn't handle things so well when I was younger and how my perspective has changed.
You may or may not know that in March of 2018, I will be moving to Savannah, Georgia to get my MFA in Industrial Design. I am moving 1,000 miles away from my friends and family with some belongings and my pug. I've started this blog specifically to document my journey starting in 2017 and moving forward, kind of like a clean slate.
Even though cell phones are a great way to keep in touch with my boyfriend, my family, and my friends, I don't want them to miss out on the awesome adventures I'm about to partake in, and I want a place that I can permanently memorialize the years to come, because it's about to get exciting!
On top of this blog, I have a Facebook page and a YouTube channel, where I will be posting regularly. Not just about my adventures in grad school, but other exciting things like makeup tutorials, fashion posts, baking recipes, and more.
I have struggled with the past few years on something that is difficult to explain. I am a HUGE advocate of learning, whether it be in school or just in general. The world has unlimited resources that gives us an infinite amount of information, and I believe in sharing that where I can. My creative outlets keep me driven and I want to be able to share that with others. I have a lot of knowledge about a lot of things, and I feel compelled to share them with people who want to learn more.
That's why I'm here. That's why I have a lifestyle/fashion/food/fandom blog. I want to share it all with those who are just as girly, nerdy, hungry, and creative as I am.
Thanks for reading! I hope you stick around!
(Bonus: here's an adorable picture of my pug!)
